| Growing up in Morris County in the state of New Jersey, I started my career with the Bell System, then known as New Jersey Bell in June of 1970. Over the next 32 years I worked for most of the companies that came after New Jersey Bell, such as Bell Atlantic, American Bell, AT&T and retired from Verizon in December of 2001 just before the New Year. During my services with these companies I was sent to Xerox and IBM Customer Relations courses. I earned many 5-Star Awards for customer services above and beyond what was expected and the Golden Eagle Award, which is the highest award that AT&T gave at that time. I have also been involved with community services, which included the Morris Minutemen First Aid Squad where I was a Lieutenant and EMT responsible for all medical emergencies and accident recovery on Friday nights for Morris Plains, Morris Township and Harding Township/New Vernon areas. I was also a Boy Scout Scoutmaster with Wood Badge training. Throughout my career, I was a proud member (now retired) of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 827. I served many years as a delegate and took courses in Labor Law and Management/Employee Relations. On November 28, 2001, I graduated from the SeaShore Real Estate School, of which David J. Boffa is the Director. In February of 2002 I started my career in Real Estate Sales. Exceptional customer service has always been my goal; therefore, I have completed the courses of Senior Real Estate Specialist and am a graduate of the Graduate Realtor Institute and have earned both of those designations. I have also taken courses in Buyer Agency and Customer Residential Services. I am a member of the Appraisal Institute after having completed the Real Estate Appraisal Course. In April of 2007, I decided to continue my real estate career at the Joseph T. Mezzina Agency, Inc. Mezzina Real Estate is a 41 year established company that has been recognized for excellent customer service in Southern Ocean County. I am proud to now be affiliated with a company whose motto is Service, Knowledge, and Experience. My wife Janet and I purchased our first residence in Little Egg Harbor in 1992. After working most of the northwest and then the central and on to the southeast of New Jersey, we settled in Little Egg Harbor where we live today.
